Damn Gas Prices

Is anyone else out here feeling the "ouch" of the increased gas prices?

I'm not talking about the obvious increase at the pump; but the increase in the grocery store!
For example...do you remember when you could go to the grocery store and buy two bags of shredded cheese-2 for $5? Why is one damn bag basically $4.99?! Better yet why was a bag of salad and some kabob veggies $20?! Everyday people are having to make a horrible decision: "do I eat today?" or "do I get gas today"

It's so much cheaper to be obese...I think that's what I'm going to talk about tomorrow.

Then of course if you're all hella big (yeah I'm included) how you gonna afford to buy new fashions? I think it's a conspiracy!

I also recently had an article sent to me by a friend showing that the increased gas is going to affect kids returning to school! School supplies are higher, lunch is higher, PLUS there will be fewer field trips IF any are allowed at all! You thought your kids hated school before they're REALLY going to hate it even more this year! There are articles like this one ALL over the news it's not isolated in any one area-but everywhere!

I'm sure the environment is reaping some of the benefits because I know I actually think before I get into my car..."is this trip really necessary"? Today prime example-I walked my lazy butt across the street to the bank! Even though it was 90 degrees the 1/2 a mile drive in AC wasn't worth the $3.47 gallon of gas...

When Senior Citizens cannot get the meals they need because the "Meals on Wheels" volunteers can't afford the gas-we have a problem!

Dammit I'm paying all this money in Social Security and the people are starving to death?! Either I need Uncle Sam to reduce the taxes and give me back my Social Security deductions or reduce the gas....

But moving back to you folks with the kids-perhaps we need to start a prayer group for you all because you're going to need some help this year!
